Spontaneous Storefronts : Projecting Democracy
A new installation in our recurring series is up in the historic Minnesota Building at 4th and Cedar in downtown St. Paul as part of the UnConvention. Steve Dietz, of Northern Lights, curated digital content from The Unconvention projects, My Yard Our Message and I Approve This Message to be displayed in this previously vacant storefront window by rear screen projection. Spontaneous Storefronts: Projecting Democracy is sure to inspire your political voice and spice up downtown streets throughout the election season.

Art on University Avenue

The first organization dedicating to placing public art on the avenue, FPA's early projects include Joel Sisson's Green Chair Project (1995), and Wing Young Huie's Frogtown: Portraits of a Neighborhood (1996).
